Microdermabrasion is a simple and non-invasive cosmetic treatment which usually takes up to 15 minutes to perform. With microdermabrasion, there is less down time than with dermabrasion. Skin is temporarily pink but fully recovers within 24 hours. There is no need for surgery or anesthetics.
Side effects
The side effects of microdermabrasion are generally mild. Negative effects have been reduced to the barest minimum. After the process of exfoliating the skin, photosensitivity may occur.
